About Country Comfort Hotel, Sydney
Location : Located on George and Quay Streets in Haymarket (the southern end of the Sydney CBD and where China Town is). Central Station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel and there is a bus stop on George Street that takes you to the Rocks and Circular Quay (Opera House / Harbour Bridge). Darling Harbour is about 10 minutes away on foot along Quay Street.
Rooms : The rooms and bathrooms are medium in size. The decor is the 70's style, very clean and tidy. The overall facilities are in fair condition. The double-glazed window shuts out noises from outside.
Restaurant : There is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor off the lobby, offering breakfast and dinner.
Exterior : Medium rise building.
Lobby : The lobby is small with 2 lifts.
General : The hotel offers a nice base for your trips in and around Sydney with easy access to the CBD and Darling Harbour. There is a pool on the rooftop from which you can get a very nice view of Sydney. Reviewed June05/KT.
